By Lone Mapper

The walls of this ancient arena have been all but destroyed, only a few remaining pillars and crumbling bits of edifice remaining. Though the fighting circle was large indeed, there is no sign of a hypogeum nor a proper foundation remaining, only scattered bits of travertine stone and random pieces of a colossal statue lying hither and yon. Many pieces of the arena are clearly missing, the limestone likely repurposed by locals for construction of other buildings or roads.

This day and night map depicts an ancient arena—still impressive despite the passage of ages. Will it be used for one last spectacle? Or a ritual cast where crowds once gathered and blood was spilled…

Ambiences, music, and sound effects
Bob World Building provides an eight minute walkthrough of the Sonic Library, which contains RPG sound effects for homebrew dnd campaigns

The small man reveals kind gray eyes as he removes his thick, brass-rimmed goggles and smiles widely. His latest concoction glows softly in the bottle before him in swirling hues of blue and green, shimmering with flecks of silver. Standing with difficulty, his joints stiff with age, he brushes his hands on a well-worn robe, causing the colorful potion bottles on his belt to clink softly as he adjusts his posture. He raises the new mixture to his face and scrutinizes it with an expert eye born from years of study.
