Standing alone in the middle of a forest clearing is a weathered stone. Closer inspection reveals the fragmented masonry at the edges and a surface stained from years of exposer. Embedded into the stonework is a bowl filled with offerings of seasonal plants and berries. Next to the inset offering is a single stick of incense emitting a faint aroma of cedar and sage from the smoldering tip. – Submitted by psubacz@gmail.com (Alias: Guilty-Caboose)
