A chill washes over your fingertips and rushes up your arms. Your muscles feel like they have been pumped full of lead; it becomes a struggle to move even an inch. You cough as blood fills your lungs and your breath slows with every gasp for air. The world darkens around you while the last few rays of light shine past your eyelids. A final thought crosses your mind as you anticipate your final breath. After another moment, you feel the darkness tug upon you and you exhale for a final time. – Submitted by zac052892@gmail.com (Alias: Zachary Chaney)
