This muddy expanse where streets meet serves as town square and marketplace. The few stalls here look like the wares of traveling merchants rather than local folk, as they sell things that people in the village can’t make or trade for themselves. A stone well stands on the side of the square, odd given the nearness of the river. Corn dollies, little humanoid figures made from straw, surround its base.
