Vibrant wall posters encourage visitors: Come and stay! Make a holiday! Play! Play! Play! Patrons surge through the doors in dizzying variety.
[Inside] High rollers stand shoulder to shoulder with down-on-their-luck laborers. Some heads are topped with flamboyant hairstyles, others with horns and scales. Nothing escapes the eyes and ears of the security detail, who insinuate themselves unobtrusively into the crowds. The casino boss runs an orderly house of vice—and evidently intends to keep it that way.
