A bard using an ornately embossed, high-back wheelchair with a custom harp fixed to her armrest is pushed by an assistant to the center of the stage. After setting her brakes, the bard pulls a lever below the harp to swivel the instrument into position. Hands at the ready, she takes a moment to soak up every ounce of attention from the audience waiting in anticipation. Once the energy of the room turns palpable, she provides the requisite release by strumming her first chord.
