Manic laughter accompanies the thumping, thunderous boom of the gnome’s eldritch cannon, spewing death and fire from its red-hot barrel. The flames light their mirrored goggle-lenses with an almost alien glow as in one gloved hand the gnome conjures a ball of caustic, green fluid and hurls it into the midst of their foes. From overhead, a screech signals the arrival of the gnome’s familiar as the owl dives, releasing a line of flame across the battlefield in a distinctly dragon-like strafing attack. The smoke roils; the laughter rings out.
