Leaning casually against the trunk of an elder tree, the dark elf clad in cream-colored watered silk and a spotless gambeson blows a quick ditty on a small but valuable-looking silver trumpet. Though his dark elvish features hold the same ageless quality as all elves, his short white hair shows some thinning patches. As you approach, he stops blowing on the trumpet and takes a long breath—somehow, you instinctively know that once this person starts talking, he is unlikely to stop for any reason short of violence or distraction.
