A squat clay bowl sits on the right side of the interior of the shrine, sheltered in the back corner from inclement weather. You see a line of ants industriously climbing up into the bowl and a second line of ants clambering out, each one heavily laden with a grain of wheat. Whatever spirit or person to whom this offering was dedicated, nature sems to be the ultimate beneficiary.
