The glossy black scales of this armor clearly came from some great reptile. Most of the leaf-shaped scales are thumb-sized, and they gleam with a curious iridescence in the light. Whatever beast was skinned to make this suit, it must have been something extraordinary, for the scales are both lighter and stronger than steel.
