As you approach the tavern, the saloon doors burst open and a humanoid figure flies through the air as if hurled, landing in the dust but rolling quickly to absorb the impact, and coming lightly to their feet. As the ousted customer brushes themselves down, you notice that their difficulties deal mostly with the dust gathered in their short, mottled black fur rather than their gaudy purple clothing. Distinctly feline features reveal themselves as the catfolk male rubs the dust from his eyes, which are heterochromatic, in yellow and blue. He pats himself down, making certain that no harm has come to his possessions, then stops and checks on one particular pouch located on his belt. A mouse quickly crawls out of the pouch and up onto the back of the cat person’s wrist.
