The iron bars of two small prison cells run floor-to-ceiling. The bars are rusted with age, and the cell on the right shows signs of an escape attempt. While most of the bars are about three inches apart, someone of great strength attempted to bend the bars of that cell open, managing to expand the space to perhaps four inches. The cells’ doors have thick iron boxes obscuring their locking mechanisms.
