There is a high, tinny whine as a buzzsaw revs up, followed by a hissing grind as it bites into the metal of the ship. A hammer bangs against a few bolts. You hear an electric fizzle as someone fiddles with the wiring. A few electronic bleeps and bloops sound as panel interfaces are prodded at and internal systems boot up.
