Players

Inviting Players

You can invite players to your session by clicking on the blue button “Invite” in the top right corner. A modal pops up. Copy the link and share it with your players. They do not need to make an account to join and listen to the audio.

Once they join, they are invited to enter a name. A sound is played to notify someone joined.

Managing volume

Players have access to a single volume slider that applies to their own volume.

Playing SFX

Players can play SFX. Everyone hears them. By default, players have access to 70 free SFX in a playlist called “Free SFX for Players”. If they subscribe as “Players”, they get access to several thousands SFX including the whole D&D 5e spell list. They can load playlists like any Opus playlist or make their own. The interface ressembles Roam.

In case a player becomes too… insistent with the SFXs, the room leader can mute the player in the Players tab or all the players at once. That will teach ’em.
