Playing Audio
Managing Volumes & Footer
There are five volume sliders in total, while it sounds like a lot, it’s easy to handle and it provides high flexibility.
The image below shows the footer, that you can expand or reduce by clicking in the left corner.
The first slider changes the global mix volume for you only. It doesn’t affect the players. Players have the same volume slider and it applies to them only.
The second slider applies to the global ambience volume.
The third slider applies to the global music volume.
The fourth slider applies to the global SFX volume.
Right under is a block. Like a brick in a Lego that ends up defining your whole Collection. It contains text and sound elements (SFX, Music or Ambiences). Each audio element currently playing is in color. As we can see, Blizzard, Campfire in Blizzard, Tent During Snowstorm and Patrol Coming (Ice) are currently playing. Each of these are at full volume, except for the Blizzard which is at roughly 50%. It can be changed easily by clicking on the slider like any other one. Sounds that aren’t currently playing are greyed out, but you can hover over them to show their volume slider and preventively edit them.
