A bug-eyed chicken head of dark metal crowns the gable of this raised wooden homeā¦and appears to be staring at you. Metal slats decorate the two sloped sides of the roof, like a pair of feathered wings. The houseās legs, still as stone, are bright yellow and scaledāthe texture of a real henās. Smoke puffs out of the crooked flue of the chimney. There are no windows and the only point of entry is the closed set of double doors under the fowlās face, each door painted with a white chevron pattern. At the edge of the roof, two crows regard you with beady eyes.
