A shrill cry emanates from a tiny creature, piercing the air. Leathery wings flap and flutter, keeping it aloft. Rough red skin is pulled tight over lean, muscular arms and legs, each fitted with sharp black talons. From its lower back a long scorpion tail stretches, tipped with its signature pincer. Jagged teeth line the creature’s mouth and luminescent yellow eyes lie in sunken sockets. Two prominent horns and a multitude of ridges and spikes line the top of the fiend’s head. It hovers, quickly glancing to and fro—its beady eyes searching the surrounding area.

This print features a work by the one-of-a-kind artist Zin and depicts “The Imperious Imp” monster in his signature style of 16th Century woodcuts.
