Upon your approach to the massive fortress, you notice that it is carved into the side of the snow-capped mountain, built into a sprawling complex of stone walls, towers, and courtyards. The main entrance is a large iron gate, heavily guarded, and you are immediately struck by the cold, damp air that permeates the stronghold despite the torches flickering in the frigid breeze. The first courtyard beyond the gate is an expansive, open area used for training and sparring. Hulking orcs can be seen wielding massive battleaxes and shields, while others practice archery or javelin throwing. A small armory on one side of the courtyard is busy working on weapons and armor for the soldiers.
