Your eyes adjust to the gloom in a formal dining room. The long ornate table—covered with patches of a strange green substance and suffering from years of damage from various creatures—appears to have been the center of many gatherings. Seated around it are the spectral forms of a family. Your eye is captured by movement in the large ornate mirror on the opposite wall. A ghastly scene unfolds as you watch: the gentleman, whose spectral form now inhabits the room, but in the full bloom of life, mutilates the family with an axe before taking his own life with the dagger worn at his belt.
