High hedgerows rise on both flanks of the road, nearly blocking your view of the fields to either side. Rosebushes and berry brambles twine throughout the long tangle of trees that have been cut, laid, and interwoven along this route for generations. Bees buzz through them, and small birds flit happily about the hedgerow’s branches, but anything larger than a fox would find few places to pass through.
