[Perceived] The floor in this room looks somehow unfinished. Some granite tiles are smooth and set into the veiny stone beneath. There are empty patches that show the floor, too rough for a slipper or heeled boot. At the threshold of the room, you feel a sort of beckoning, much like a tug on one’s collar or sleeve.

[Discovered] The tug you feel is at whatever metal you wear or carry. At the threshold, you can see that the pull is toward one of the rough stones, and that certain polished granite stones create a safe path through the magnet field.

[Triggered] When you cross the threshold into the room, you realize that the tug you felt was at the metal you wear and carry—but it is too late. You slide across the slick granite and onto one of the rough squares. Your weaponry, armor, bracelets, and necklaces strain at their fasteners, pouches, and sheaths, and you are forced down toward the floor.
