There’s a deep wisdom in this frogfolk’s big, glassy, black eyes—a solemn sageness that belies his slight and unassuming form. Ice-blue warpaint contrasts starkly with the frog’s slick, red skin, where it’s visible beneath simple furs and hides. Totems composed of animal bones dangle from him, clattering softly with each movement, and he leans on a gnarled branch draped with similar totems. A rat emerges from behind the ornately carved wooden shield resting against the frogfolk’s back, moving to sit on his shoulder and accepting a crumb to nibble.
