With practiced diligence, you bring your left palm back around to face your body, thoughts of formation beginning to manifest on the outside of your hand. Spiraling geometry that defies expectation hovers centimeters from the skin. Simultaneously, your right hand withdraws from the arc it etched in the air, leaving simmering golden light which appears to the eye as many glimmering particles. Using the momentum of the movement, you bring this hand around, placing your palm against the glittery light, digits spread. A shield forms in your grasp.
