Walking through the great, shifting stalks of this fungal jungle, you hear the growths breathe. Their porous tops exhale loud gouts of breath—hissing like steam. Sudden and overpowering, these breaths have a slow, but intermittent cadence. You also hear the sounds of creatures further in: the snarl of a tiger, the roar of a large ape, the chitter of birds.
