A bell, soft and low, tolls and fades. A hum prevails, something ominous and punctuated by quick gusts of wind. There is a metallic feel to the noise here, as if the bars of cages are being played with violin bows. A high sibilance competes with a low one, the mysteries whizzing past and disappearing.
