Deep gongs and a low drone reverberate through the temple as someone whispers. There is a metallic tang to the sounds, followed by a mystical tone whirling in the cavernous space. Distant doors shut with long echoes, and other echoing tones seem conjured—crescendos from neither instrument nor human voice. The whispering carries in hisses through the long, ominous, tonal shades.
