On this terrestrial world, life teems and calls out from a deep jungle. Birds and animals of the tree canopy and ground chirp, babble, and bark in relentless, testy little batches of insistence. From the sodden ground come the scaly green tones of lizards and frogs. Running water and leafy breezes undergird all the noise of the jungle. Then a rain begins to fall, big drops hitting broad leaves and cascading down. It fades away as quickly as it arrives.
