The waters caress the shore in small, gentle waves. Wildlife abounds here. Waterfowl of various sizes twitter and ululate from within the nearby trees and reeds. Insects buzz over stagnant water. There is a wet plop as a bird lands on the surface of the lake, then bobs along with its easy rhythm.
