There is a quiet mechanical droning of machinery. A klaxon beeps four times, pauses, then beeps four more times. The machines go silent, and the alarm picks back up. Hammering can be heard, and it is soon made clear that it’s caused by pipe pressure when there is a loud whoosh close by.
