Thunder rumbles overhead for several seconds, almost sounding like it won’t end, though it eventually does. Only a few creatures make ineffective croaks, with the rest in the rainforest electing to remain silent and safe under cover. A feline breaks the relative silence and roars in triumph in the distance.
