A dripping of water from the cave ceiling is dominant at first, but then the realities of the underground retreat become clear. The incessant fluttering of spiders’ legs can be heard, crawling over the floor and walls. Deeper in the cave, beastly screams are interrupted by clacking mandibles and crunching bones.
